Overview

Mochi Bloom is a cozy drop-and-merge puzzle you can play free in your browser, no download required. Slide the aim point along the top rail and release a plump little Mochi spirit into the bin, where it tumbles under real gravity and settles into the pile. When two creatures of the same kind bump together they pop and evolve into the next size up, climbing an 11-tier cast of blushing critters from the tiny Bean and Berry all the way to the majestic Moon King. Only small spirits ever drop in, so every bit of growth has to be earned through smart merging. Time your drops so one merge dominoes into the next and you'll rack up chain combos, rising chimes, and score multipliers. Space is the enemy: bigger creatures crowd the bin, and if a settled spirit lingers above the pulsing danger line, it overflows and the run ends, so keep merging to stay clear. Every new creature you reach is saved forever in your Evolution Gallery, and merges earn Drops you can spend in the Palette Shop to recolor the whole cast. With a persistent best score to chase, one-tap restarts, and runs that resume right where you left off, it's an easy-to-learn, hard-to-master satisfier for quick breaks or long sessions on desktop and mobile.

How to play

Desktop: move the mouse (or press Left/Right or A/D) to aim the drop point along the top rail, then click, release the button, or hit Space/Enter to drop the held Mochi. Mobile: touch and drag anywhere so the aim follows your finger along the rail, then lift your finger to release the spirit straight down. The held creature always rides up top, never hidden under your thumb. Two spirits of the SAME tier that touch merge into the next bigger one at their midpoint, adding score. Tips: (1) Watch the small next-preview chip and plan two drops ahead so you can position pairs for merges. (2) Chain merges within about half a second to stack a combo multiplier, up to x9, for big score jumps. (3) Keep matching kinds near each other and clear the pile before anything settles above the dotted danger line, which pulses red and gives you a short grace window before overflow. Your best score and unlocked creatures persist, and a refresh resumes your bin.
